Here's round three of my Marvel office artwork blog series. I'm on a roll!

While yes, I did dish out the mutant goodness yesterday with the Art Adams X-Men poster, I couldn't avoid posting this bad boy today. Wolverine by Sam Keith. 'Nuff said.

Okay, I'll say a little more about it. As a kid I was a HUGE fan of MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS. A bi-weekly anthology series, MCP featured plenty of good character spotlights by a variety of cool creators, but it also served as a de facto second Wolverine series. He was in every damn issue! And a slew of those stories were drawn by Sam Keith.

Keith's style isn't for everyone, but his wild poses, crazy proportions and brilliant storytelling abilities just kick my tuckus. Even here, in this poster, Wolverin looks like he's gonna leap out and gore you with his pig-stickers. Awesome!

Very awesome! It's like a bacon pie filled with awesome.

Awesome cover. The setting makes it look like a fantasy setting, what with the felled over tree and the mushrooms and what not so I get this Wolverine/Lord of the Rings vibe.

i actually see different things depending on if I'm looking at the thumbnail or the full image. i love this poster!

I knew Sam Keith from his The Maxx series... Never knew he drew for Marvel as well... but when I saw this you can immediately see The Maxx in there can't you. :-)
