Posters Around the Marvel Office: Gambit & Rogue by Dennis Calero
2008-06-05 17:49:01

I didn't get to blog yesterday because I was totally swamped with a billion things. Not that today's been much easier, but I didn't want to miss another day, so I'm back in the game!

And what do I do? I pick a poster featuring one of the few Marvel characters I feel no love for: Gambit. I know lotsa people love Gambit, but he's just not my cup of tea. Rogue? She's cool.

What really grabbed me about this poster--other than it being really sweet--was that I just couldn't put my finger on the artist at first. There's some Sienkiewicz, some Hildebrandt and some other bits that threw me off the case...until I read the signature. Dennis Calero!! Nice guy, great artist, kudos all around!

Afterthought: I picked ANOTHER X-Men image. What's up with that?! Expect some Hulk, Dr. Strange, Daredevil and more in the coming days.
I wonder...
are there any Venom/Spider-Man/Avengers/New Avengers posters?

Really like the Gambit and Rogue poster.

I got this poster for my wife years ago.
It's nice to finally know who the artist is.

Re: I wonder...
There's at least one amazing Venom poster, a bunch of Spidey posters and definitely at least one New Avengers poster. I'll blog about them all at some point!

I wait eagerly in anticipation to see more posters.
