He he he... yeah. I was stuck in Hawai'i for a week with no e-mail or websurfing. D'oh! In order to survive, I had to spend a lot of time on the beach or doing just about anything else. But I survived! And so shall you, Joe!

The cover looks great!!! But then again, why wouldn't it? Definitely inspiring me to pick up my pencils again and go at it.

First of all, the cover is simply amazing. Really. I've said it before, but after all the blood sweat and tears that you put into this cover, it really truly paid off. This cover alone and all the frustration that went along with it alone are reason enough for you to deserve your vacation among your other hard work. I hope you are having fun and enjoying it!

(P.S. I know its hard to be away from a computer. Be thankful you aren't away from a cell phone as well. When I'm without a cell I feel like I'm floating in some abyss detached from the world. Really. Lol.)

Holy crap, that cover totally came alive; the tentacles really seem to be whipping out at you. I'm really impressed and wanna shout out my thanks for showing us the stages of the creative process, Joe.
It increases my appreciaton for a fine piece of art like that, having been given a glimpse at how it came into being.

Talk about a cool cover.
That's pretty cool stuff, there, mr. Quesada. I like it a lot. I saw the book you did with Kevin Smith at the store earlier today, the Daredevil one (of course), and I liked it a lot.

By the way, was the hero con in the gigantic convention center just outside the main city? I've been there many times, if so, for the Christmas thing they do every year, ugh...Used to live there, myself. Charlotte rocks.

But, again, great cover. Love the colors, too. The warm colors do a good job with themselves.

... I miss the old school "wings" on wolverine's mask. Then again its fresh and you cant keep rehasing the same look so I approve. OMEGA RED looks awesome.
