Here's a bunch of stuff coming across the desk this week...

-Wacker
You ruined Spider-Man
Spidey doesn't deal with the devil.

I won't buy this crap.

Undo OMD/BND NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You saved Spider-Man
I love the Coney Island cover. Just like I love the rest of BND so far.

Please never undo OMD/BND.

Thanks.

Wow!
Cant wait! That art looks incredible, especially for issues 564 and 565! Thanks Wack-Wack!

The cover ara kind of dumd, they remind me the silver age comics.

The DB intro page
So far I've not really mind the bnd stuff, it's alright, some better then most but the DB intro page where you mention the off the record interview stuff doesn't really work. It's off the record for a reason and if they would have printed it then the DB would get in trouble and sued. As a journalism major that page has pissed me off everytime I've seen it, so could you just change that little intro part. Other then that the comic has been pretty well done. Just a little tiny change so that it works in the real world and not anger real newspaper people. Thanks.

The text really messes up two cool McKone covers.

That's because they ARE...
They look like Silver Age stuff because that's what JQ assumes we want: a Silver Age Spidey.

And if anyone tells me I'M living in the past because I want them to retcon OMD, maybe YOU'RE the ones living in the past because you're in love with the Spidey from twenty years ago.

Tomayto, Tomahto.
"if anyone tells me I'M living in the past because I want them to retcon OMD, maybe YOU'RE the ones living in the past because you're in love with the Spidey from twenty years ago."

***

You know that works both ways, do you? Spidey had been married for twenty years. Changing that was a step backwards AND a step forward. Now we can keep arguing for another twenty years if that step was necessary or not. But that doesn't change the fact that if you forget the previous status quo, you get an exciting comic book series that combines elements from almost every decade (including, but not limited to the sixties) with new stuff.

i like OMD/BND
i really like the stuff thats come out in the last year, my only gripe is that they havn't YET explained why harry is around, and why spidey doesn't have his organic web shooters. other than that i'm happy enough keep up the good work Whacker and your crew,

Pease

P.S Bob Gale rocks and i'd love to see a timetraveling fridge make and apperance, Plz plz plz

Yeah, and the only way to recharge the time-travelling refridgerator is Bruce Banner's Gamma Bomb. ;)

Keep it up!
You guys have rocked so far--I signed up for 36 recently and I am very glad I did, considering the art above! Make mine Spidey and Make Mine Marvel!
