I enjoyed the trailer it was great can not wait for the movie to come out. Is foreman playing Venom? I hope not but he does fit the size of tobey, but venom should be bigger. I can not wait to see venom. But Spidey looks good in the black, and can not wait for the movie should be the best yet.

Spidey busy this summer!
Not one, not two, but three villains to contend with???
Let’s hope they don't lose focus - personally I’d like the main villain to be Sandman - Peter trying to look "bad" with the jet black hair and long fringe is just wrong though.

Please let this be the final film – there’ll want to put nipples on the suit next!!!

Ok the trailer was awesome, but topher grace as Venom. I don't know about anyone else but isn't he a little tiny for Venom. That's what I'm thinking. Otherwise it looks really good already. I've watched the teaser 3 times already.

The new goblin's gear seems a bit less...gobby.

The teaser was great maybe too great. It exceeded my expectations. I think Topher Grace will make a great Eddie Brock and eventually Venom. I do not believe that the Venom in the movie will be the charecter that we know. Sam Raimi now has a track record for taking these beloved villains and giving them heart. I don't think Venom will make an appearance until the very end. As long as it is Raimi helming these movies; Marvel Studios and Columbia Tristar needs to keep making them

The trailer got me very excited! I was hoping and praying that Venom would make an appearance in the 3rd movie and you guys have made me soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy, really really happy! Quenching the thirst
I've waited a long time to see some footage from Spider-Man 3. It has actually haunted my dreams a few times. I'm happy to say that this teaser delivered. I'm extremely grateful that it wasn't filled with footage from the first two movies. Just from seeing this trailer, I'm already beginning to predict the plot. But that doesn't mean I'm not eagerly anticipating this movie. I believe that this baby will continue the trend and surpass the one before it. I'll be counting down the days till May 4th.

What's the black suits origin?
It's not from a Secret Wars I'm guessing. Maybe an experiment of Dr. Connors? Maybe it crawled out of Love Canal in upstate NY and slowly made its way to Parker? Maybe it's pre-Columbian dormant ooze discovered in Peru and it is awoken by Parker's unique biology?

F-awesome! Totally! I think using Topher is a great way to make Venom the movie's own, instead of using some muscle-bound egghead. Topher and Tobey have the same physical profile - it's gonna look like Spidey's battling his dark self physically instead of metaphorically!!! And 3 awesome villains! And GWEN! I just hope this doesn't spiral out of control and lose focus. Too much is sometimes too much!

Topher will be good as Eddie Brock. I don't think anybody thats been posting here recalls that before his job got overtaken by Parker at the Bugle. Eddie was a wimp. He didn't start getting pumped until he was looking to gain revenge on Peter and only got super sized when he got the symbiote. I think Tophers got the right personality to play Venom.

Saving Grace
Venom should be the anti-Spider-Man. The way Raimi is interpreting this is that he should be similar to Parker, just plain, bone-deep evil. Judging from his casting call with that interpretation in mind, he did perfectly.

Grace is very similar to Toby in size and frame. He's bulked up like Toby has done for the last two films. Venom won't be a body builder like in the comics, and the suit won't make him 3 times larger (too far fetched for a movie of this scope to try and take 15 minutes to explain why Grace is suddenly the size of a defensive lineman).

For the sake of the film, let Raimi take us on a ride. He's shown us how he can get progressively better (look how much better the 2nd film was compared to the first...and the first was still a good movie), and I say get behind him again. If it sucks that bad, they'll just remake the franchise in 10 or 15 years (just like Batman).

While surfing the web today I came across a website known as wireimage.com wher they had Spiderman 3 set photos. Most of the photos were featuring Ben Parker(Cliff Robertson) speaking with Flint Marko aka Sandman. These images were probably flashbacks but my question is what did Ben have to do with Flint Marko.

PS: Topher Grace I think would play a good Eddie Brock mainly because his character would be similar to two different Eddie Brocks the Ultimate Spiderman's, because he is thin like Spiderman, and Amazing Spiderman's, because of the plot line behind the character.

I can't wait for S3 to come out now that I've seen the trailer. But I was looking at a forum about Harry's costume in the teaser, and everyone thinks it's crappy. I think the suit is Harry's proto-suit. Hopefully my hypothesis is correct, cause the suit looks like a down right paintball suit :P !

I think Topher will make a exellent Eddy Brock, but I guess I always figured the actual Venom character would be digital. I read a blog saying that Venom would only be in Spider-Man 4 and Topher would only be in one scene to lead to the fourth movie. I hope there is no truth to this statement because, I know this will raise debate, hated all the villians in the movies. Including the third movie. I'm more a Venom, Carnage, Scorpion, Lizard kind of guy.

Hey I am just glad they are bringing out a real hardcore villian. Don't get me wrong Doc Oc and Green Goblin were great but Venom...I cannot wait to see the Carnage that erupts. Since X-Men is spinning off into the Wolverine movies, perhaps we can get some straight up Venom movies? And I think Topher Grace could play a good Venom, especially after being picked on so much on 'That 70's Show' perhaps he will let out some well deserved anger.

Awesome...but a bit disapointed
That movie will totally rock! The first two had some action, but enough for me. But in this upcoming movie, I think my thirst for action will be quenched. But I was hoping that spidey would have the black suit with the huge white spider in the middle. You know, the same same style suit as venom in the comics, but without the tongue of course. Really wish they had that suit instead of the same old suit but different color. Get me?

Personally, I loved the trailer! Venom is one of the best villains ever! And I can't wait to see the Hob Goblin! But two questions, in the previous Spider-man movies, they made no actual story-line with Eddie Brock, so how will they play his character in spider-man 3? And will carnage be in the third, or any of them for that matter?

Eddie's first appearence
Eddie Brock was mentioned in the first movie in the daily bugle. JJ wants photos of Spider-

Man and no one can get them , then some one says " Eddies been on it for weeks" after this JJ then makes the creepy Julia Roberts analagy. So from this we gather that Eddie WAS the top photpgrapher for the bugle . Untill Peter showed up with his Spidey shots gettin the fronpage all the time. So he should already have a grudge against him. this means it can only have built a bit more since then.

My only worry is that it'll be too difficult to tell so many character arcs. We have Gwen, Harry, Sandman, (Eddie?), Peter, MJ, JJJ, possibly John Jameson, Aunt May, and probably a few others. It's a tough one, but I'll try to have faith in Sam Raimi.

But I am a little worried that with so many villians they're just going to go overboard and make it too much of everything. One villian was enough to handle for the first two, but now having 4... that worries me. I'm stoked for Venom though.

Personally, I think they call it a "teaser" for a reason. Sam Raimi did an excellent job of playing with our minds as to whether Venom will actually be in the movie or if he will be in the next. Or if there will even be a next at that. He also set up thoughts of Sandman's reasons for appearing, Harry's odd-looking suit, and what Gwen Stacy has to do with all of this. I think all the characters casted for the movie are perfect for the part. It's more about the personality of the characters rather than the look. I mean look at the Green Goblin, he didn't look exactly like the comic version, yet he still did a good job in the movie. I think Venom will be in the movie considering that so many people are hyped about it and for them to cast him in the fourth movie would be a big disappointment to fans and would lower sales. I'm sure they wouldn't want that to happen.

I want to see a movie where the Hulk fights the Thing. For an hour and a 1/2. I want to feel it every time they hit each other. I want the force of the blows to shake my popcorn right out of it's bag. Just nothing but super-human, god-like fighting for an hour and a half. I'd pay to see that.

Venom? What Venom
Damn you Marvel! SM3 AND Civil War? Arg, how on earth am meant to get any sleep with so much to think about. As for the trailer, it sent shivers down my spine. It seems that there is alot of people cheering for the arival of Venom, yet he never appears in the trailer what so ever. I have a feeling it will be similar to the ending in SM 2. He will spend the whole movie trying to get it off, then as a crual twist at the end, a closing shot of Venom, ("Paaaarker") tounge 'n all. What about Gwen Stacey...more relationship problems just after MJ finally officially gets with Peter...talk about twisted.

As for the Marvel team, Congrats on EVERYTHING!

That 70's Spidey
The teaser was so very exciting. I cried the first time I saw it. Venom is definitely my favorite Spidey villian ever. I can hardly wait to go see the movie. Wait, Eric Foreman is Venom!?! What's next, Red as the Vulture. That would be grand, than Fez could be Cap(Fez, Cap...Get it?). Anyways, with my initial comments about television shows being said, I believe if the teaser is any indication of how the movie will turn out, it should be the best one yet.
