Biography

Biography

The Sterling name was one of the first on the North American Continent, and the Sterling family developed extraordinary wealth. Perhaps thrill-seeking, Phillip Sterling used his scientific expertise in the employ of the Organizer (Abner Jonas), leader of the criminal Organization seeking to place numerous members of the Reform party in positions of political power to take control of New York City. Having kept a low profile, Sterling left town after Jonas’ exposure and arrest, and he escaped trail or prosecution for activities, which may have included Jonas’ communication equipment and/or the ability enhancing costumes for Jonas’ agents, Ape-Man (Gordon “Monk” Keefer), Bird-Man (Henry Hawk), Cat-Man (Townshend Horgan) and Frog-Man (Francois LeBlanc).
