There are 142 characters shown on Avengers: The Initiative #1's two covers.
Editor Molly Lazer went to bat and put together this killer character map specifically for Marvel.com. Not that she had much trouble with it, mind you. "Just for the record, I was able to name 100 of the characters myself without looking at any reference," Lazer says. "Woo hoo!"
