This May, not only will Iron Man star in his own big screen blockbuster, back in the world of comics books, the Armored Avenger also rockets into a brand new monthly ongoing series: INVINCIBLE IRON MAN.

"Iron Man" will make its way into theaters everywhere on May 2, but writer Matt Fraction (IMMORTAL IRON FIST) and artist Salvador Larroca (AMAZING SPIDER-MAN) will launch Tony Stark into INVINCIBLE IRON MAN later that month.

"Tony Stark is equal parts James Bond and Chuck Yeager--a pioneer, a test pilot, an engineer, an adrenaline junkie visionary," explains Fraction. "Iron Man is the ultimate achievement in what we, as humans, can become. He's not the product of cosmic rays or a radioactive spider. He is the triumph of human ingenuity over the frailty of the human form."

For the next five days, Marvel.com becomes your number one source for all things Shellhead as we proudly present Invincible Iron Man Week.

Tomorrow, we'll speak with INVINCIBLE IRON MAN writer Matt Fraction in his exclusive first interview. Later in the week, look for more with editor Warren Simons as well as Daniel and Charles Knauf, who will speak about the future of IRON MAN: DIRECTOR OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Plus plenty more features exploring Tony Stark and his greatest adventures, inventions and of course, the lovely ladies.

So get your repulsor rays ready and those helmets screwed on tight, because Invincible Iron Man Week will rock your world!

IRON MAN! You know you love him! And as the summer's most anticipated movie boot-jets its way into theaters, here's the perfect jumping-on point for new readers and Iron Man fans alike!
Tony Stark – Iron Man, billionaire industrialist and director of S.H.I.E.L.D. – faces the most overwhelming challenge of his life. Ezekiel Stane, the son of Tony's late business rival and archenemy Obadiah, has set his sights, his genius and his considerable fortune on the task of destroying Tony Stark and Iron Man. What's worse, he's got Iron Man tech, and he's every bit Iron Man's equal and opposite…except younger, faster, smarter…and immeasurably evil.

Rising star writer Matt Fraction (IMMORTAL IRON FIST) and superstar artist Salvador Larroca (UNCANNY X-MEN) join forces to repulsor-ray your comic books to a cinder!

Damn you MARVEL! I already don't have that much money as it is, and now I'm gonna spend whatever I have left on his book. I love Matt Fraction's writing, Salvador Larocca's art, and Iron Man...
