Posted: 2008-02-20 Updated: 2008-02-20 09:23:58
Marvel is pleased to announce that NEW EXILES #2, from legendary X-Men writer Chris Claremont and fan-favorite artist Tom Grummett, has sold out at Diamond (though copies may still be available at the retailer level)! Following hot on the heels of the sellout of the first issue, this new era for everybody's favorite universe-hopping mutants has met with feverous fan reaction in support of the new series.
To meet the overwhelming demand for this issue, Marvel is going back to press with NEW EXILES #2 Second Printing Variant, featuring the interior art of Tom Grummett on a new cover!
The NEW EXILES, in their first mission, find themselves on a world bleaker than ever before. This new Earth they find themselves on has been ravaged by meteors and is roamed by deadly adversaries looking to put an end to this new team of reality-saving heroes. But what could have driven this world's Storm and Black Panther apart, and thus put the Earth on a one-way collision course to destruction? Plus, what is the mystery behind this world's very different Gambit and what is his secret lineage?
Be sure not to miss your second chance to pick up this new hit series with NEW EXILESs #2 Second Printing Variant. And for those Exiles fans who may have missed the sold out new direction for the team, NEW EXILES #1 Second Printing Variant and NEW EXILES #0 (reprinting EXILES#100 and EXILES: DAYS OF THEN & NOW) are coming very soon to a comic shop near you!
