C.B. Cebulski heads out west with THE LONERS

Every week, we'll tap one creator to browse Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited and pick some of their favorite work from the expansive catalog. This week: writer C.B. Cebulski "THE LONERS will always have a special place in my heart. Not only was it a book that featured a team consisting of some of my favorite Marvel characters from my younger years—Julie Power! Darkhawk!—but it was the first real chance I got to play in the larger Marvel Universe. As a new writer, you wait for the chance to be able to express your voice to a larger audience and LONERS was the first book that really provided me that opportunity at Marvel.
"I was able to take characters like Darkhawk and Ricochet and Turbo and explore the inner workings of their minds, personalities and relationships. It was an honor to build upon what other writers had established before me and add to the greater whole of these heroes' mythos. Plus, being on the west coast, the Loners were the only super hero team that got to meet at In-N-Out Burger!"
