
Iron Man Soars to $300 Million
Success at the box office leads to smiles at Marvel

It feels like yesterday that ol' Shellhead blasted into theaters on May 2. But just eight weeks later, Marvel's Armored Avenger continues to soar to new heights. Marvel Studios' "Iron Man" just reached Hollywood's magical $300 million mark at the box office domestically and is quickly closing in on $550 million worldwide.
Fitting another notch in his belt (that is if he wore one), "Iron Man" became the first movie to cross $300 million in 2008!
Haven't seen enough of the playboy billionaire turned vigilante? "The Incredible Hulk," currently smashing the box office, features a short but oh-so-sweet Tony Stark cameo…and you don't have to wait until after the credits to see this one!
The not so jolly green giant has so far pulled in over $66 million domestically and aims to be another success—making Marvel Studios two for two.
