Fearing retaliation from un-captured serpents, Diamondback suggested they form their own group under the name B.A.D. Girls, Inc., B-A-D being the initials of their three code names. The remaining serpents captured Diamondback but M.O.D.A.M. intervened, kidnapping Anaconda and the B.A.D. Girls for Superia's army of Femizons. On Superia's cruise ship, Asp and Mamba befriended Zambian criminal javelin expert Impala, while Diamondback was attacked and nearly killed by old enemy Snapdragon. Traumatized, Diamondback decided to quit adventuring as soon as possible. Captain America and Paladin came to their rescue, and the B.A.D. Girls helped them defeat Superia.
Captain America offered to help clear their criminal pasts, but the B.A.D. Girls declined. When Mamba pulled the image of Diamondback's greatest fear (Snapdragon) from her, Diamondback quit the group in anger; Black Mamba and Asp decided to investigate, seeking Snapdragon. In New York's Bar With No Name, the pair were attacked by Battleaxe, Steel Wind, and Golddigger seeking a reward Superia had placed on their heads. Impala came to their aid, joining B.A.D. Girls in Diamondback's place. The new trio briefly fought Sersi while stealing a Serpent Saucer from the Society's old headquarters and eventually tracked Superia and Snapdragon to an A.I.M. weapons exposition in Boca Caliente; however, when Snapdragon was killed by Diamondback, the threesome lost their immediate goal, and the group eventually dissolved.
When Diamondback regained her confidence, she contacted her friends and their group remained intermittently active. Diamondback worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. while the Asp and Black Mamba both freelanced, Mamba briefly working for the Crimson Cowl (Justine Hammer) against the Thunderbolts. Asp and Mamba rejoined the Serpent Society when they were hunting what King Cobra believed to be Diamondback (actually an LMD), and the original B.A.D. Girls reunited when Cable anonymously hired them to steal a new computer hard drive from the Dominus Corporation. After battling Deadpool for the technology, they determined that it had already been stolen by the Cat (Shen Kuei), and confronted him in Hong Kong. Aiding Deadpool against an army of Makeshift and Revanche clones, they completed their contract, and the trio went their separate ways until their next hire.
During the Civil War the trio reunited after the death of Goliath. Joining Captain America’s Secret Avengers their ties to criminal underworld allowed Captain America to form an alliance of necessity with characters of ill repute. The BAD girls where responsible for bringing Goldbug and Plunderer to the safe house who where executed at the hands of the Punisher for their past misdeeds. All three BAD girls where involved in the final battle in Midtown but none of them have taken the offer for Superhero amnesty following Captain America’s surrender.Main Page | Recent changes | Random page | Help | What links here | Related changes | Upload file | Special pages | Printable version |
