Very little is known about the man who would become Deathshield. What is known is that he was trained by Taskmaster as a member of an evil version of the Avengers. Deathshield was trained to be a version of Captain America while his team-mates Blood Spider and Jagged Bow were trained to be versions of Spider-Man and Hawkeye.
