Traveled to Knowhere with fellow Luminals, turned into a zombie, and defeated by Nova (Nova #8-9, 2008)

One of the three most powerful Luminals, Discharge presented a tremendous task of defeating, along with fellow teammates Cynosure and Crater, to a weakened Nova after he witnessed the death of another comrade, Suspensor. Accusing Nova of murdering Suspensor, when it was really the villain known as Abyss, Discharge would never get a chance to apologize as Abyss turned him and his team into “meat puppet” slaves. Discharge would, however, get another chance to assault Nova and the Chief of Security of a place called Knowhere, Cosmo, until Nova defeated Abyss. Once Abyss lost control of his zombie army, Discharge, along with the rest of the Luminals, ceased to exist .
