Grey King is capable of using advanced telekinesis adapted from the powers of Jean Grey and is also capable of inhibiting almost any mutant's power

Addison Falk remembered having a life as a college professor who was recruited by the Founder to lead his X-Men under the name the "Grey King."

In reality the Grey King was a nanotech creation who was implanted with memories of a normal life and given powers based on other mutants. He and the rest of Cerebro's X-Men were created to aid Cerebro in its "dream" of the capture, categorization and storage of every last mutant.

The team was successful in kidnapping Shadowcat and defeating the real X-Men in combat but failed to take over a mutant tracking satellite due to inference from the real X-Men.

The Grey King and the rest of Cerebro's X-Men were absorbed into Cerebro itself and destroyed in order to give Cerebro enough strength to try to defeat the X-Men.
