Moonstar was a member of the Pale Riders and was sent by Apocalypse to try and locate the whereabouts of the fabled Avalon, a place where people could escape the brutal reign of Apocalypse. She joined the Ghost Dance, the first link of the Infernal Gallop and the journey to Avalon, and witnessed Nightcrawler demanding to get to Avalon unnoticed. She reported back to Apocalypse with this news who then sent her fellow Pale Riders, Damask and Dead Man Wade, to follow Nightcrawler on his journey to discover the location of Avalon. Along the way, Moonstar wouldn’t stop torturing Dead Man Wade and Damask killed her in a fit of fury.
