Tara could create and surround herself with flame, using it to propel herself through the air, as well as projecting it as a weapon. Unable to regulate her core temperature, she would burst into flame upon contact with oxygen. Tara wore a specially designed suit that regulated this, though as time passed she began to control her powers without the aid of the suit.

Tara is a female android designed by the Red Skull to infiltrate the Invaders and be used against them. Fought alongside the Avengers shortly before being rendered unable to use her torch by Jim Hammond and was rendered inactive.
