After the senseless murder of Squirrel Girl’s first partner Monkey Joe, Tippy Toe as well as many other squirrels came to the aid of a heartbroken yet angry Squirrel Girl. Together they, along with the Great Lakes Avengers, battled and defeated Batroc’s Brigade and their benefactor Maelstrom. Tippy Toe remained by Squirrel Girl’s side after the event and became her new partner.
