NASA Offers Aid to Tony Stark, and Marvel, Following Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer

'Avengers, we have a problem.'

Following Friday’s trailer release for Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Endgame,” Marvel fans around the world were concerned with one particular moment, and Avenger, in the trailer.

The “Avengers: Endgame” trailer opens with Tony Stark AKA Iron Man drifting through space, out of food and water and nearly out of oxygen. Low on hope and facing death, he records a message for Pepper Potts should he not make it back to her, and Earth.

The American space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has heard Tony’s transmission (by way of hundreds of concerned fans), and has offered some assistance.

In a tweet, NASA offered some advice to Marvel and the Avengers: Hey @Marvel, we heard about Tony Stark. As we know, the first thing you should do is listen in mission control for “@Avengers, we have a problem.”

If that’s not successful, they continued, But if he can’t communicate, then we recommend ground teams use all resources to scan the skies for your missing man.

The tweet was accompanied by a photo of NASA’s control room. An eagle-eyed Marvel fan spotted a name tagged that read ‘Thor’ with a Mjolnir next to it. The Space Agency once again responded with some insight: The Thermal Operations and Resource (THOR) officer is truly one of Mission Control's mightiest heroes. They ensure the operation of multiple Space Station subsystems which collect, distribute & reject heat from critical equipment and payloads for the success of the mission.

See the culmination of the last decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe when “Avengers” opens in theaters on April 26, 2019. Stay tuned to Marvel.com, follow @Avengers on Twitter, and Like “The Avengers” on Facebook for the latest on the Avengers as it develops.
