The Cast and Creatives Behind 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Reflect On The Season 6 Finale
The ABC series will return for its 7th and final season Summer 2020!
The two-hour Season 6 finale of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. got us in the feels.
The dynamic season finale saw us through a roller coaster of emotions as we witnessed Sarge stabbing May and pushing her in the portal to die, Deke frustrated with his grandparents' lack of recognition of him, Yo-Yo's pleas for a mercy killing following possession of a Shrike, and the return of Phil Coulson thanks to a Chronicom-upgraded LMD.
What does the cast and showrunners have to say about the Season 6 finale and the events that lead up to that? Take a look at the video below.
Ming-Na Wen joked that "May's died a few times," reflecting "she's probably less scared of dying than having the love of her life betray her and kill her."
"It's always so heartbreaking," noted Natalia Cordova-Buckley, "but something I love about this show is that every single one of our characters in this team is willing to give their life for others, and even though we have super powers, the true message is that our biggest super power as humanity is our love."
Meanwhile, Chloe Bennet wanted to make sure this season was an empowering season for her character Daisy and Clark Gregg reminisced about the evolution of Phil Coulson from unnamed agent in Marvel Studios' Iron Man to where the TV series has taken him.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return for the last and final season Summer 2020.
