Biography

Biography

The dignified and efficient dispenser of Olympia’s general affairs, Domo works as the Eternals’ Chief Administrator.

Administrator

Domo is one of the Eternals, an evolutionary offshoot of humanity created by experiments performed by the enigmatic Celestials around one million years ago during the Celestials’ First Host. As an Eternal, Domo is distantly related to the genetically unstable Deviants (also descended from Celestial experiments) and normal humans, but possesses cosmic energy within his body which immediately sets him and other Eternals apart from the other races.

The Eternals establish a society separate from the Deviants and humans, having little to do with either race for many centuries. Domo becomes the Eternal’s administrator on Earth in the city of Olympia.

Cosmic Energy Manipulation

As an Eternal, Domo’s bodily cells contain cosmic energy, and he maintains constant mental control over every molecule of his body. He is virtually immortal and can be restored to life even if the molecules of his body are scattered.

He also possesses the capacity for superhuman strength, telepathy, flight, teleportation, illusion-casting, and transmutation of organic and inorganic matter. As an Eternal, he can also generate various forms of energy from his body, including force, heat, light, and other electromagnetic radiation. Some Eternals have devoted themselves to specializing in a particular facet of their powers, and can increase their proficiency in one area by decreasing their power in another.

After Kronos, the leader of the Eternals, isolated the cosmic energy that empowered the their people, the containment vessel ruptured and exploded, disintegrating him and destroying Titanos. While Kronos existed as a disembodied cosmic entity whose life force and consciousness expanded throughout the solar system, the remaining Eternals’ powers increase by the explosion’s energies. Zuras becomes the Eternals’ leader while Domo becomes an administrator at their new home in Olympia on Earth, located in Antarctica.

Domo and the other Eternals discover that with their new powers, they can unite to form into a collective Uni-Mind, merging into a single form. Within the Uni-Mind, the majority of the people choose Zuras as their new Prime Eternal. Zuras leads his Eternals to create the new cities of Oceana in the Pacific, Polaria in what is now known as Siberia, and the capital city Olympia in the mountains of Greece where Domo becomes the city’s administrator.

Villainous Enemies

When Domo and the other Eternals form the Uni-Mind for a ritual of making decisions together, the criminal Maelstrom arrives to usurp the power of the singular entity and kill all the Eternals. Luckily, the Avengers came to their rescue.

Steadfast Allies

When Thor Odinson, AKA Thor, arrives at the city of Olympia, he learns about their history and his father’s history with them. He soon allies with them against the Forgotten One and to protect them against the Celestials

When Maelstrom tries to kill all the Eternals, the Avengers step in and save the Eternals from utter destruction.

An Administrator’s Account

When the Space Gods, AKA Celestials, arrived on Earth during their Fourth Host, Domo warned the Eternal’s leader Zuras and offered his instruments to study them.

During Olympia’s Olympic games, the events are interrupted by the arrival of Thor, the Asgardian thunder god. Zuras directed Domo to resume the games, and he followed through with his orders. When the Forgotten One, sometimes known as Hero, arrived at the games, Domo saw him as a threat and asked Zuras to smash him before he could cause any mischief, but Zuras refused to do so unless Hero committed a hostile act.

Later, when the Avengers members Eros, AKA Starfox, and Janet Van Dyne, AKA the Wasp, arrived in Olympia as stowaways, Domo and the Eternals plans for a Uni-Mind ritual were put on hold. They soon discovered through Starfox that he was the son of A’lars, AKA Mentor, brother to the Eternals’ former leader Kronos. Domo confirmed Starfox’s claim to be accurate and demanded that he be allowed into the Uni-Mind ritual to help them decide the future of their race. After the Eternals formed the Uni-Mind, the villainous Maelstrom arrived to target and kill the Eternals. The Avengers came to the rescue and stopped Maelstrom and his ally, Deathurge. While they are defeated, the Uni-Mind is protected, and most of the Eternals departed for space while a few remained on Earth.
