“Patch,” AKA Wolverine

Madripoor was a prominent location in Wolverine’s second solo series, a perfect place for the berserker X-Man to find trouble and lose himself in it. Under the guise of “Patch,” Logan beat up baddies and broke up plots among the resident elite.

The Princess Bar

Tyger Tiger

in Uncanny X-Men (1963) #229

AKA Jessan Hoan. The daughter of Singaporean bankers, Hoan’s life of privilege and success was derailed by the radical mutant Reavers. Seeking vengeance for their heinous attack on her family, Hoan adopted the name “Tyger Tiger” and amassed influence as Madripoor’s leading crime lord. Today, she is a sometimes-ally of Gambit and Wolverine.

“The Tape”
