In my office, I have a GenX promo poster framed over my desk. This series was HUGE for me as a kid.
In Thor: God of Thunder (2012) #1
When I was first offered the Thor job, this was my favorite book being published. I was pretty intimidated to find out I'd be the artist following it up!

I love this series so much – it has all the drama and depth of the best HBO shows, with a really fresh take on super heroes.
Chris Claremont & Paul Smith’s X-Men

I had a hard time choosing one era from Chris Claremont's X-Men run! One of my favorites is this Paul Smith arc, #168-175, with its classic team lineup, a Storm/Callisto knife fight, Rogue joining the team, and, of course, "Professor Xavier is a jerk!”
