Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot is set in the world of the hit television series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Taking place shortly before the beginning of Season Four, this digital series features the character of Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley), an Inhuman with the ability to move with super-speed. As a person with powers, she must sign the recently instituted Sokovia Accords, the worldwide agreement that regulates and tracks those with super powers. However, the restrictions of the Accords are in direct conflict with a personal mission she's desperate to fulfill, a mission that will test her abilities, her allegiances, and will include some tense encounters with our most popular S.H.I.E.L.D. team members.
Now that Daisy has returned to S.H.I.E.L.D., Yo-Yo wants to talk to her about a secret the two of them share. In a flashback, we start to learn about the day Yo-Yo signed the Sokovia Accords. But we also discover Yo-Yo is tracking a dangerous threat from her past.

Having stolen Director Mace's credentials, Yo-Yo is eager to further her mission of tracking down Colonel Ramon, but must first report to the lab. While Fitz-Simmons complete Yo-Yo's Inhuman registration, she must find a way to continue her secret agenda, and hide the truth from Mack.
Agent May confronts Yo-Yo, accusing her of stealing the Director's missing credentials. Yo-Yo maintains her innocence, but Agent May is not so easily fooled. Later, Yo-Yo reunites with an old acquaintance and digs up the past.
Yo-Yo finds herself held captive by Ramon and discovers he has a connection to an old foe of S.H.I.E.L.D. When some unexpected help arrives, Yo-Yo gets her chance to exact vengeance against the man who caused her family pain.
Yo-Yo continues her confrontation with Ramon and decides whether he should live or die. She puts her super-speed powers to surprising use in a climactic moment. In the aftermath of her personal mission, Yo-Yo weighs her commitment to the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.
