'Doorman Infinity Comic' Sends DeMarr Davis on a Tour of the Marvel Universe

In Cody Ziglar and Julian Shaw's 'Doorman Infinity Comic,' the Great Lakes Avenger known as Doorman attempts to portal his way into a super side gig.

Ding dong! Doorman of Great Lakes Avengers fame just got his very own Infinity Comic one-shot on Marvel Unlimited!

In DOORMAN INFINITY COMIC (2026) #1 by writer Cody Ziglar and artist Julian Shaw, Doorman ditches a virtual job interview for an in-person demonstration of his portal powers during his hunt for a super side gig. His interviewer probably didn't plan on visiting New York City, the Savage Land, and Latveria anytime soon, but he's going anyway!

Make way for Doorman! DeMarr Davis, the Great Lakes Avenger known as Doorman, knows how to make an entrance—but is that enough to land him a job in the tech-security sector? His interviewer will find out when Doorman takes him on a whirlwind tour of the Marvel Universe.

For his comic book debut in WEST COAST AVENGERS (1985) #46, DeMarr Davis was introduced as a mutant teleporter, where his body becomes a portal to the Darkforce Dimension, transporting anything through his body to another location. Since then, the character helped found the Great Lakes Avengers, and most recently, a version of the character made their onscreen debut in Marvel Television’s Wonder Man, out now on Disney+.
