Every Ironheart Armor and Suit (So Far)
Learn all about Riri Williams’ iconic armor designs in Marvel Comics.
The most important part of being a super hero? It’s the great power, great responsibility thing, of course. But good style comes a close second. Whether it's Spider-Man's red and blue suit or Storm's classic headpiece, these designs transform our heroes from super-powered individuals who do good into instantly recognizable icons.
When Riri Williams set out to build her Ironheart armor, she wanted to make something iconic. It all started when the young genius and Champion reverse-engineered Tony Stark's Iron Man suit and built her own. Riri honed her craft, with each new armor building upon the last to take Ironheart to the next level.
Now, let's follow the evolution of Riri's designs, from the very first armor she assembled to the now classic suit that cemented Ironheart as one of the defining heroes of her generation.

Ironheart Armor Model 1
The 15-year-old Riri Williams first appeared on Tony Stark's radar after she reverse-engineered the Iron Man Armor Model 41. Always looking to push herself further as an engineer, the teenage prodigy built a prototype armor as a personal challenge.
With the first Ironheart armor, Riri assembled a machine capable of flight, despite its bulkier stature. Initially, the suit possessed no offensive capabilities, but an armor-crushing encounter with a truck caused Riri to rebuild it with more powerful repulsors.

Ironheart Armor Model 2
Riri supercharged her next suit of armor as she stepped into an Avenger-sized void following the apparent death of Iron Man in CIVIL WAR II (2016). However, the ever-prepared Tony Stark uploaded a copy of his mind into an advanced artificial intelligence construct he entrusted to Riri's care.
Powered by an A.I. based on Tony Stark's personality, the second Ironheart model possessed significant computational power, providing Riri with vital radar and sensory information in the heat of battle. The A.I. modeled after the seasoned Avenger also acted as a mentor for the rising hero.
Riri put this sleeker, battle-ready suit to the test against a variety of foes, from the rampaging Rhino to an army of Doombots. However, when Riri journeyed into space on a mission with the Champions, Thanos made quick work of Ironheart's armor.

Ironheart Armor Model 3
Rattled by her experience in space, Riri built herself back up with an all-new suit: Ironheart 3.0. This reinvention of the Ironheart armor traded Iron Man's signature red and gold for pink and black, re-introducing Riri Williams to the world with a bold new look.
The latest version of the armor was more than a mere paint job, packing a powerful punch and a range of new capabilities. Lighter and faster, the suit's new aerodynamic design offered Riri more maneuverability than ever before. Riri also built the armor to fit entirely in her wristguard, allowing her to suit up as swiftly as danger arose.
From solo missions in Wakanda to infiltrating Roxxon with the Champions, Riri protected the planet from threats both personal and existential. With her new armor in tow, she cemented Ironheart as an icon among a rising generation of heroes.
First Appearance: CHAMPIONS (2016) #22 by Jim Zub and Kevin Libranda
Lady Ironheart Armor
Utilizing the Siege Parallel, the Champions traversed the Marvel Universe to one of the strangest corners in the cosmos: Weirdworld. The Champions found themselves transformed when they arrived in the medieval dimension rife with magic.
In Weirdworld, Riri Williams became Lady Ironheart, the knighted hero wearing chainmail for armor. With no electricity to power a mechanical suit, Riri wielded magic through the Mace of Light and Truth instead.

RiotHeart Armor
The Multiverse opens up entire worlds of possibilities... and design choices. On Earth-138, home to Spider-Punk, Riri Williams protects the planet as the armored hero known as RiotHeart.
In this reality, Riri joined the Spider-Band, Spider-Punk's team of heroes that resisted President Norman Osborn's regime. From spikes on her shoulders to graffiti motifs painted on her suit, Riri designed the RiotHeart armor to echo the punk aesthetics of her teammates.
