The Ultimate Universe's Greatest Icon, Miles Morales, Stars in Sara Pichelli's New 'Ultimate Invasion' #1 Variant Cover

This summer, two of the comic book industry’s most innovative and exciting creators, writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Bryan Hitch, are teaming up for a transformative new vision of the Marvel Universe! ULTIMATE INVASION will be a four-issue limited series that sparks a journey that will revisit the Ultimate Universe in a shocking new way.

The saga kicks off when the Maker, who has been living on Earth-616 since the destruction of the Ultimate Universe, hatches a plan to destroy—or perhaps rebuild—this universe, and he wants to take his fellow Ultimate Universe survivor Miles Morales along for the ride!

To celebrate this potential return to the groundbreaking characters and stories of the Ultimate line, Miles Morales co-creator Sara Pichelli has drawn a stunning variant cover for the debut issue spotlighting Miles. Will the reunited Illuminati be able to stop the Maker’s bold scheme? Or will Miles be an unwilling pawn in the Maker’s mad reshaping of the Marvel Universe as we know it?!
