This December, 'Star Wars' Concludes with 'Empire Ascendant' #1

Coming in December, the culmination of STAR WARS (2015) arrives in grand fashion with STAR WARS: EMPIRE ASCENDANT #1!

Announced today on StarWars.com, the 56-page one-shot serves as the epilogue for the flagship series and is crafted by some of the greatest creators in the galaxy. Writers Charles Soule, Greg Pak, Simon Spurrier, and Ethan Sacks unite with artists Luke Ross, Roland Boschi, and more as the Rebellion absconds to the planet Hoth in the wake of their recent victories against the Empire.

Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, smuggler Han Solo, and the rest of the Rebels dig in their defenses at Echo Base....but how long will they truly be safe from their many enemies, including Darth Vader?
