Learn How to Draw Captain America With Marvel Studios’ Ryan Meinerding

Class is in session!

Wondering if you’ve got what it takes to draw The Star Spangled Man with a Plan? Well, grab your pens, pencils, paper, and a solid drawing service, because Marvel Studios’ Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding is taking us through how to draw Captain America!

Honestly, we could watch Meinerding draw Cap all day.

Meinerding explains that he spends his working hours drawing and painting characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, he’s going to show us just how he does this, so we can follow along, possibly learn some new drawing techniques, and maybe color in our work when it’s done — red, white, and blue, of course.

Hopefully, it comes out looking something like the below, but it's perfectly okay if you need two, or three more tries drawing Steve Rogers to master these techniques!
