Make These Daredevil Devil’s Food Donuts

Hell’s Kitchen is heating up with these decadent chocolatey treats!
- Red fondant
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup chocolate milk
- 1 egg
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Step 1: Roll out the fondant and cut out Daredevil symbols. Make small horns with the remaining fondant. Set aside.
Step 2: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep a donut pan with non-stick spray.
Step 3: In a bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, white sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Step 4: Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and stir in the chocolate milk and egg until just combined.
Step 5: Pour the mixture into a piping bag and pipe the batter into the prepped donut pan.
Step 6: Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly in pan, then turn out and let cool completely on a wire rack
Step 7: In saucepan over medium heat, stir together the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and vanilla. Whisk constantly until the ganache comes together. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 8: Dip the donuts into the ganache. Let dry for approximately 10 minutes.
Step 9: Place the Daredevil symbols and horns to serve.
