This past weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Comic-Con International presented Marvel Comics Publisher John Nee with an Inkpot Award!
Given to individuals for their contributions to the worlds of comics, science fiction/fantasy, film, television, animation, and fandom services, the Inkpot Award has a long and storied history with creators and leaders hailing from the House of Ideas. Previous winners include Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, Executive Vice President and Head of Television Jeph Loeb, as well as Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and dozens of other Marvel luminaries throughout the years.
"I am so deeply moved by this incredible honor," says Nee, "and I'd like to thank Comic-Con International for all the work they do to bring us all together and celebrate our passion and love for comics and pop culture. I'm forever grateful to be a part of this community, and I'm humbled to now stand alongside so many amazing people who have inspired me through their groundbreaking work."
Congratulations to John and the rest of this years Inkpot recipients!
