Marvel Nabs Three 2019 Webby Awards

Webby Awards

Earlier today, the winners for the 23rd Annual Webby Awards, the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet, were announced, and Marvel won five Webby Awards. Voted among more than 13,000 entries, Marvel was recognized for the web, podcast, and apps categories.

We cannot thank our True Believers enough for voting for us, the prestigious Academy, as well as all the teams behind each of these wins!

Webbys Winner

Wolverine: The Long Night, our first scripted podcast, was recognized by the Academy with a 2019 Webby Award for Best Original Music / Sound Design, Podcasts & Digital Audio.

Webbys People's Voice

Marvel.com, your official source for all things Marvel, nabbed the 2019 Webby People's Voice Award for Websites – Entertainment.

Marvel Unlimited, our app that gives readers access to over 25,000 digital comics to read when and where you want, won the 2019 Webby People's Voice Award for Apps, Mobile, and Voice – Entertainment.

We'd also love to recognize our Games partners for their 2019 Webby People's Voice Award for their branded-entertainment videos! FoxNext Games and their agency won Video – Games for MARVEL Strike Force, while the LEGO group, WB Games, and their studio won Video - Animation for The Gauntlet - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes - Mini Movie.

The 23rd Annual Webby Awards ceremony, hosted by Jenny Slate, will take place on Monday, May 13. Follow #Webbys on May 13 to watch the show.
