'Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales': Meet the Newest Masked Hero, Spider-Man... the Cat!

Be Greater, Be Yourself this Holiday 2020!

Marvel’s New York just got a brand-new masked crime fighter: Say hello to Spider-Man the Cat, or, as he is becoming known throughout Marvel’s New York and beyond, “Spider-Cat.”

When Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales swings onto PlayStation next month, Miles Morales will be joined by this furry, feline friend for missions in the city. As first shared by Game Informer in a new gameplay video (which you can watch below!), players are first introduced to this furry friend after Miles has to save him. Watch to see how one Spider-Man meets the other!

The new footage also states that the cat’s legal, real name is, in fact, Spider-Man. The more Spideys, the merrier!

As Game Informer reveals, Miles can don a new suit in the game, the Bodega Cat Suit. This gives him access to a backpack, which Spider-Man the Cat then travels in — including in the air and swinging from building to building. Additionally, Spider-Man the Cat can assist Miles in combat, making him a perfect kitten companion, complete with his own Spider-Man-esque mask!

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch both physically and digitally on the PlayStation Store on November 12, 2020.
