Summoner Showdown 2020: Qualifiers Are Now Open

The 2020 Summoner Showdown for Marvel Contest of Champions is officially here, and the first of three Qualifier Rounds starts now! 

For the 2020 event, players from three regions — Americas, Europe and Russia, Asia and Oceania — will battle it out in three different rounds, starting with Qualifiers before moving on to the Semi-Finals, and lastly the Finals. The Qualifiers begin today August 17, so get your Champions battle ready!

This week’s boss is the former Herald of Galactus, Silver Surfer! He’s stacked with insane modifiers: Special 2 is Active for the Defender, a 4000% health boost, and a Champion Boost of 300% Attack and Health. So choose your own Champion wisely! 

Competing Summoners will be scored on a number of parameters, including beating the boss, hits received, fight duration, and damage per second. Summoners have unlimited attempts to log their best fight and the first qualifier round closes on August 24, 2020.
