Miles Morales: Spider-Man Writer Saladin Ahmed on Marvel's Voices

Listen to the full audio episode as your host Angélique Roché sits down with the scribe!

This week's Marvel's Voices is an extra special one.

Not just because it's the last episode of 2018, but because I had a chance to sit down with one of my favorite writers of science fiction, fantasy, and poetry, Saladin Ahmed.

Ahmed started writing for Marvel in 2017, taking on the first ever BLACK BOLT solo series, which would go on to win an Eisner Award. He also wrote 2018's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL #1, QUICKSILVER: NO SURRENDER, and is currently writing EXILES as well as the upcoming MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN, which hits shelves on December 12.

Ahmed, who is well-known for his ability to write and create interesting and diverse characters and stories, sat down with me to discuss his love for comics, growing up in Detroit, and some of the cool things in-store for Miles Morales.

Watch a clip of our conversation above, then listen to the full interview below. Then check out our live conversation at New York Comic Con 2018 right here.

And, make sure to stay tuned for new episodes of Marvel's Voices coming in 2019!
