Balkaa was born in an unidentified dimension on a world known as Vellus-Kar. He was one one three Vellus-Kar hunters to cross over into Earth's dimension through the Nexus of All Realities. Balkaa and his brethren rode upon a large red reptilian creature. Balka was slain by the swamp walker, Man-Thing.
