Dro’ge Fenu Edu

Dro’ge Fenu Edu

Royal Priest of the Sciences for the Skrull Empire, Dro’ge devises methods to duplicate powers of Earth’s heroes and make Skrull infiltrators utterly undetectable.

Biography

Biography

Through scientific genius, Dro’ge Fenu Edu modifies the Super-Skrull process to create multi-powered warriors, giving the Skrulls more power to blend in with Earth’s superhumans than ever before.

Pioneer Skrull Scientist

Dro’ge’s genius, originally funded by the Emperor Dorrek VII’s near-limitless resources, is the key to the Skrulls’ scientific advancements and their endeavors. His transforming miracles earn him hero status among his people.

Dro’ge also earns the position of Head Priest of the Sciences. Many of the Skrull empowerment programs, such as those that produced Paibok, AKA Power Skrull, and the Warskrulls are based on Dro’ge’s pioneering work. He eventually perfects a process melding mystic and scientific means to create Super-Skrulls that could duplicate multiple powers in a single subject, and a process that rendered their sleeper agents virtually undetectable by duplicating their target’s memories and overwriting the agent’s original personality.

Genius-Level Intellect

Dro’ge possesses a genius-level intellect, and masters a number of science-related fields, particularly Skrull and alien anatomy, biology, and reverse biological engineering.

Earthly Enemies

The greatest human enemies of the Skrulls and Dro’ge by proxy, are the Illuminati: Reed Richards, AKA Mister Fantastic; King of the Inhumnas Blackagar Blackagon, AKA Black Bolt; mutant telepath and X-Men founder Charles Xavier, AKA Professor X; founding member of the Avengers, Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man; Dr. Stephen Strange, AKA Doctor Strange; and King of Atlantis Namor McKenzie, AKA Namor the Sub-Mariner. While captured, Dro’ge takes their genetic material to create clones and better help the Skrull Empire defeat their earthly enemies.

Skrull Allies

As a loyal Skrull, Dro’ge dutifully follows Skrull Emperor Dorrek VII and later Queen Veranke. He is, of course, allied with his colleagues as well, but when he receives a promotion, his colleague Galan only shares a warning rather than congratulations.

Scientific Breakthroughs

After the Skrull Invasion on Earth, some of Earth’s heroes and members of the Illuminati, Mister Fantastic, Black Bolt, Professor X, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Namor the Sub-Mariner, travelled to the Skrull homeworld but were subsequently captured. Dro’ge was a part of collecting samples and specimens from them in order to make clones. Based on Dro’ge’s past experiments with cloning and dissection, war council delegate Wor’il moved him to another Skrull world to report his scientific efforts directly to him.

While testing the clones under the leadership of Priest Galan, the Emperor arrived to hear about their successes but Galan thought them failures. When Dro’ge interjected and insisted progress was made, Galan shouted at him to not speak out of turn. The Emperor allowed him to speak and Dro’ge suggested that they use the minds of the heroes instead of creating duplicates of their bodies and he was soon promoted to Head Priest of the Sciences. He immediately apologized to Galan since his promotion meant his demotion, but Galan warned him if he failed, the Emperor would have him banished.

Later, on Tarnax X, Dro’ge presented his experiments to Queen Veranke and her delegates at a council meeting. He explained that in using the DNA he had previously gathered, he stripped out the human’s brainwave patterns and downloaded their genealogy information to create a model for a new Super-Skrull warrior. Resembling Kl’rt, AKA Super-Skrull, the warrior could duplicate the abilities of any DNA sample it carries inside him. He also revealed that he had formulated a way to allow Skrulls to walk among humans totally undetected, by duplicating the target’s memories and allowing them to blend in not only in form, but in mind. Impressed, Queen Veranke used his technology to coordinate another invasion of Earth as Jessica Drew, AKA Spider-Woman.
