Looking to escape persecution from the Civil War|Superhuman Registration Act, Grindhouse gave up retirement and sought out a woman named Vienna who was giving costumed criminals new identities so they could start new lives. Grindhouse was in the company of villains like Shockwave, Goldbug, Equinox and many more, but what they didn't know was Vienna was working with the Heroes for Hire, and the whole operation was a set up to lure criminals out of hiding. Between the combined might of Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, Black Cat, Shang-Chi, Humbug and Orka, the gathered group of villains didn't stand a chance. Although she gave it her all, Grindhouse was injured by Tarantula and knocked out by Paladin. Grindhouse would have to put her new life on hold until after she was released from prison.
