Biography
Rul managed to mind-meld with the living disembodied brains preserved within the Xandarian computer network. He then gained the collective knowledge of those brains and psionic abilities, and became known as the Protector. The Protector was also heralded as one of the members of the Champions of Xandar. He was killed when the space pirate Nebula's forces slaughtered Xandar's population.
