Purge was one of the few mutants to survive the Sentinels' attack of the island nation of Genosha. He along with his friends Hub and Hack were allies of Chimére. Hack informed Hub and Purge that they were in danger, because the Omega Sentinel was coming to Genosha. With the thought of their deaths looming in their heads, they went searching for Chimére, to warn her, and to see what they should do next. However, she was nowhere to be found and the three young mutants attacked the plane, hoping to destroy the Sentinel on their own. Their mission failed, causing the airline to explode in midair. Both Purge and Hack were saved by the teleporter Hub. Purge was among the mutants that lost their mutant abilities due to the Scarlet Witch's reality altering catastrophe known as House of M|M-Day. However, Quicksilver used the Terrigen Mists to return and amplify his powers.
