Named after the Japanese Snow goddess that lured men to their deaths, Yuki is a blood descendant of an original member of the Nail; a group of women assassins who killed for the Hand. She chose to join the Nail's modern-day incarnation assembled by Daredevil but led by Colleen Wing, speaking of justice for those victimized. Remaining loyal to Black Lotus when she challenged Colleen for leadership, Yuki stayed with the Nail along with final member Makro even after Lotus was defeated, and Colleen left with their youngest member, Cherry Blossom.
