TEAM HAWKEYE

(Never) Meet Your Heroes

in Young Avengers Presents (2008) #6

This is the second time that Kate, as the new Hawkeye, meets Clint. She first met the newly resurrected Clint in his (very) brief stint as Captain America. After HOUSE OF M, Clint adopted the name Ronin and surprise attacked Kate while she was on a “not-date” with Young Avenger Patriot. Why? Because Clint wanted his original codename and bow back. Who knew that this meeting would lead to years of future team-ups?

Arrow-Dynamic Duo

in Hawkeye (2012) #2

Although this series is full of great moments, the second issue sets the tone for how Kate and Clint interact as partners. The Hawkeyes decide to get fancy and bust the Cirque du Nuit, a group of elite thieves who have gone so far as to rob the Kingpin and Hammerhead. And it all works out—the phony circus gets caught and the Hawkeyes leave with a boat full of cash.

Shenanigans With Deadpool

in Hawkeye vs. Deadpool (2014) #1

A Halloween night gone wrong leads to Clint and Deadpool (sort of) working together to stop super-secret S.H.I.E.L.D. info from getting into the claws of Black Cat! Kate Bishop works as a decoy to draw out Black Cat’s allies, while Clint fights the feline fatale herself. When they fail to catch any of them, they turn to Plan B: find the thumb drive through Kate’s detective skills.

Know Your History

in All-New Hawkeye (2015) #1

Clint’s past parallels the present! What seems to be a simple mission for Kate and Clint isn’t simple at all. The weapons that Director Maria Hill has tasked the Hawkeyes to retrieve from Hydra aren’t just weapons—they’re three little kids. Kate and Clint go against the code to protect the nearly-nuclear children and show them a piece of home, but after a brutal accident Clint starts to betray Kate’s trust...

Time Heals All Wounds

in All-New Hawkeye (2015) #1

It’s been thirty years since Team Hawkeye has been on a mission. Kate is wiser, and Clint is now… Old Man Clint. So what brings them back together after all this time? Project Communion. The child test subjects of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra need the Hawkeyes to set aside their differences to get the job done. In the present, Clint and Kate still need to reconcile.

Family Reunion

in Hawkeye (2016) #13

Read through issue #16! In this four-part arc, Clint travels to Los Angeles to get help from Kate. Someone is trying to kill him, but meanwhile Kate is trying to figure out whether her mom is still alive! A plot of intrigue pulls in Madame Masque, Lady Bullseye, and Swordsman, but even against classic Super Villains and an army of masked minions, the Hawkeyes triumph.

Little Help from a Friend

in West Coast Avengers (2018) #1

Kate has been living in Los Angeles, doing investigative and hero work, but she might have bitten off a little more than she can handle. Clint advocates for Kate to build a team, and the new West Coast Avengers are born! Clint may be “part-time,” but he does his part. He works with Kate to sneak into A.I.M., (mistakenly) leads her and the team into a trap set by Madame Masque, and, oh yeah, wrangles land sharks.
