To save his planet from Galactus, Norrin Radd offers his eternal servitude so that the Devourer will save his world. In his debut appearance, Radd arrives on Earth to warn of Galactus' impending arrival, then comes face-to-face with the Fantastic Four.
In Earth X (1999) #12
In some realities, Norrin Radd's partner Sahlla-Bal also becomes a Herald of Galactus. This series sees the lovers surf the spaceways together before they return to Earth to join the Devourer's battle against the Celestials.
