After a restorative hiatus in his cocoon, Him is given the name “Warlock” by the High Evolutionary, and gifted the Soul Gem. Then it’s off to Counter-Earth, where Warlock serves as the planet’s first hero!
The Magus, Warlock’s future self, is wreaking havoc in the present. Now, Adam must team up with a ragtag crew of cosmic misfits, including the Mad Titan Thanos, to stop his evil counterpart.
When a mysterious alien prophesizes the deaths of Warlock and his allies, Warlock seeks answers from the Soul Gem. However, the gem takes hold over its owner and sucks Adam into its core! Trapped inside, Adam learns that the Soul Gem is one in a set of six.
Thanos, having collected all of the Infinity Gems, uses his god-like power to wipe out half of all life in the universe. Adam Warlock gathers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and cosmic entities alike to oppose the Mad Titan in a last-ditch attack!
