I discovered this title when I was a little kid, fell in love with it, and it still holds a special place in my heart. This is that obscure character I’ve always wanted to write, just because he seemed so cool when I was a kid.

Back in the 1970s, a comic called Marvel’s Greatest Comics reprinted old issues of Fantastic Four. I believe Marvel’s Greatest Comics #41, which reprints Fantastic Four #54, was my very first Marvel comic book. I was around five when it came out, and Jack Kirby’s art blew me away.

I love everything about this series. The writing is brilliant, the art is stunning. I've probably re-read this series more than any other.
In Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man (2014) #1
This was the series I wanted as a kid, but never got. Spider-Man has always been my favorite super hero, and as much as I love Peter Parker, Miles is it for me.
