Kang the Conqueror has discovered an ancient Eternals device called the Quantum Controller. With it, he could reorder the events of time and space. The Controller has been divided into four parts and each part is secreted somewhere in the world. Kang has retrieved four heroes from earlier in their timelines to help him retrieve the pieces. The present day Avengers learn of Kang's plan and have gone out to face off against their friends and endeavor to stop them.
