'Marvel Mutts Infinity Comic' Digs Up a 'Rashomutts' Mystery for Season 4

When a glass case gets knocked over in Avengers Mansion, Ms. Marvel and the Marvel Mutts must uncover the true culprit for 'Marvel Mutts Infinity Comic' Season 4.

Five dogs. Five tales. One truth.

Ms. Marvel and the Marvel Mutts are back in MacKenzie Cadenhead and Enid Balam's MARVEL MUTTS INFINITY COMIC (2023) #19, which kicks off its next season exclusively on Marvel Unlimited with a 'Rashomutts' story arc. After an innocent game of fetch goes awry at Avengers Mansion, Kamala Khan and Pizza Dog discover someone has shattered a glass case in Captain America's office—but who is truly responsible for this terrible accident? Each Mutt must tell their tale so they can dig up the truth!

"Normally, our Friday Funnies stories are one-and-done. And while each issue in the 'Rashomutts' arc can be read as a standalone, choosing to connect them as different versions of a singular event from a different Mutt's (or Mutts') perspective offered logistical storytelling and visual challenges that were so fun to tackle," Cadenhead told Marvel.com.

"It's a unique way to embrace serialized storytelling and gave us more room for character and story development than we usually utilize in the Friday Funnies format," she added. "Not to mention, telling a story about the subjective experience of an event is just so ripe. It allowed us to give every Mutt the spotlight, along with some surprise guests that I am so excited to bring into the fold."
