Pre-order the first issue of Leah Williams and David Baldeón's new series today, then pick it up on July 29!

The X-Men have conquered death!

By the grace of The Five, the resurrection protocols can bring back any fallen mutant. But such a huge enterprise isn't without its issues and complications. When a mutant dies, X–Factor is there to investigate the world of murder and missing persons.

Launching later this month on July 29, writer Leah Williams and artist David Baldeón take the Krakoan operatives Northstar, Polaris, Prodigy, Eye-Boy, Daken, Prestige, and Aurora to form a task force that ensures the rules of resurrection are on track with X–FACTOR #1!

How does limitless resurrection change the laws of mutant culture? That's what Leah Williams aims to unravel in this brand new series.

“We’d already planned on having X-Factor report to the Five for obvious resurrection work reasons,” Williams shared with Polygon in an exclusive interview earlier this year, “but I asked [Jonathan Hickman and X-Men editor Jordan D. White] if we could focus a significantly greater concentration on the Five to not only help develop their evolving group dynamic, but also how they come to establish each resurrection protocol.”

To read up on how she chose Northstar, Polaris, Prodigy, Eye-Boy, Daken, Prestige, and Aurora for this new iteration of X-Factor, head on over here.

Choosing the key players of the newly-revamped X-Factor was only one part of puzzle. For the next step, it was up to artist David Baldeón to freshen each X-Factor member's look. In an exclusive in-depth interview with Marvel.com, Baldeón shares his creative process on the team's new in-universe symbol and each of their costumes. You can read all about it here.
