Because you demanded it.

Wolverine has returned, attended weddings, handled Infinity Gems...but now his greatest challenge is at hand: himself.

In today's DEAD MAN LOGAN #6, writer Ed Brisson, artist Mike Henderson, and colorist Nolan Woodard team up to present a never-before-seen moment in the history of the mighty mutant.

Dead Man Logan

As Old Man Logan prepares to go somewhere far away, he starts making the rounds... And that obliges him to a meeting with his younger self. So they rendezvous at a local watering hole to talk things over.

Or...to not talk things over. Who knows what happens when the Universe's most famously tightlipped curmudgeon sits across from the Universe's other most famously tightlipped curmudgeon?

Unlike his fellow Canadians, Ed Brisson has a lot to say about crafting the words that are said—and the ones that are left unsaid—in today's pivotal issue. "One of the big things we wanted to do is, in issue #6, have Wolverine and Logan sit down for a beer and a talk," Brisson explains. "Wolverine’s memories are partially gone, so he has questions for Logan. And there’s a moment when Logan realizes he can control how much information he gives his younger self.

"What is he going to give him and what is he going to hold back? There are things that Logan wants to protect that he knows [his younger self] is a danger to," he teases. "Younger Wolverine doesn’t know about these things, so he wants to keep them away from him."

At the end of issue #6, Old Man Logan experiences a threshold moment in his final journey—one he'll never be able to come back from. "What we’re doing for the last six issues is getting that original OLD MAN LOGAN vibe… Those last six issues are going to be chaos," he laughs. "We’re really leaning into the Mad Max, the Unforgiven of it.
