‘Wonder Man’ Will Return for Season 2

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley are back.

Marvel Television has announced that the acclaimed Disney+ series Wonder Man is returning for a second season. Stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley will reprise their roles as Simon and Trevor, with series co-creators Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest both returning for Season 2.

Guest returns as showrunner and executive producer, with Cretton back as director and executive producer. Up next, Cretton directs Spider-Man: Brand New Daywhich will hit theaters July 31, 2026.

Wonder Man Season 1 follows aspiring actor Simon as he struggles to launch his Hollywood career. Along the way, he crosses paths with fellow actor Trevor Slattery, and the two strike up an unlikely friendship — especially when Simon learns that celebrated director Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić) is remaking his favorite childhood Super Hero film, the 1980s cult classic Wonder Man. 

The first season debuted in January to critical acclaim, earning a stellar 91 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The first episode of Wonder Man is available to watch free on YouTube, with the entire season streaming now on Disney+.
